The Monthly Challenge A new monthly challenge starts on the first day of every month and is available to everyone. You can set your own reward for completing the month, and in addition, if you write every day for a whole month you earn a badge!
Writing Prompt Groups
We're testing some new Writing Prompt courses that will let you opt-in to getting writing prompts like a word of the day or a fun question to help get your writing flowing.
1-Day Streak Protection If you have one of these and you accidentally miss a day, this will give your streak an extra life, so to speak. It doesn't work retroactively, and it won't increment your streak for the missed day.
Set Cheat Days
If you want to designate 1 or more days of the week as days that you don't plan to write your 750 words, you can set those here and your streak won't break on those days (it also won't go up).
Schedule Days Off
If you have a vacation or other break that will result in time away from your daily writing routines, you can schedule that here and make sure you streak is frozen during that time so that you can come back to it at a later date.
🧚♂️ Fix A Broken Streak
Did you accidentally miss a day? No need to lose all hope—the Streak Fairy can help!
If you write a double day (1500 words instead of 750) the Streak Fairy will appear and let you fix a broken streak within the last week or so.
If that isn't possible, and you'd still like to make a case for repairing your streak—be it due to an emergency, technical difficulty, or just an honest slip of the mind—you can click the Feedback button in the bottom right corner of the screen and send us a note and we will do our best to help out.
