The Good Patrons of 750 Words

Just reached my Phoenix badge! So happy. I’ve been keeping up on my 750 words while doing my second NANOWRIMO. It helps me to clear my mind of the daily chatter, gives me a place to work out plot ideas, and generally keeps me in practice. The first 10,000 words of my novel poured out of me so easily, and I credit this daily 750 words practice. By writing every day, I’m used to facing down the blank screen and watching the words pile up in front of me, and not allowing the fact that I have no earthly idea what I’m going to write about intimidate or keep me from writing. No excuses, just words on the page. Every day, whether I feel like it or not. Thank you, Buster!
