Using this site on and off for the past few years has yielded several benefits:
1) I have become used to the fact that writing is part of a daily practice. It is a ritual for me that is no longer daunting.
2) I look forward to putting down whatever is swimming in my thought process. The best part is that the compartmentalization and self-editing controls are temporarily turned off for me!
3) My brain feels better—sometimes it’s hard for me to verbalize my thoughts in speech, but having a platform to come back everyday is very therapeutic.
