I came here seeking to be a better writer. To use it as practice to refine and not bother revising. To learn to trust what comes intuitively. And somewhere in there, the things that have come have been life changing. It has been the purest form of psychotherapy. I have unchained myself from demons I have carried all my life in my secret, unedited writings here. They can live outside of me now and I’m no longer weighted by them or tethered to them or defined by them or in pain because of them. It’s been an exorcism of emotional baggage of epic proportions. I came here to be a better writer but I’ve become a better person. Many thanks.
