The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I am, as Daphne Merkin put it in The New York Times, afflicted with avoidance. And yet, the goofy badges and timely emails and encouraging tone do get me to write. Maybe not every day, and not always 750 words, but more than my still silent notebook ever has.

This is a thank you note to Buster for making 750words.com the place he wanted it to be, and for being generous with his time and his intentions. And for making us early adopters feel part of his insider club, by granting us free lifetime memberships. I was ready to pay, and did pay, for a year of memberships, but I am tickled, and feel spoiled, to be invited into this site as a founding member.
