I didn’t know how much I was looking forward to my phoenix badge until I blew a 70 day streak. I was having trouble accessing the site and I didn’t think to try restarting Firefox until approximately fifteen minutes before midnight. I don’t type fast enough to have saved my streak. And then today, I got home from a concert late last night and didn’t get to bed until around 3:30am. I slept late this morning and didn’t even think about writing my words until 11:50pm. This time, I only blew a seven day streak. The moral of this story is write your words early and don’t wait until the last minute to trouble shoot your access to the site. It will be at least October before I earn my phoenix but I’m going to keep at it. I get too much out of writing my morning pages to quit at this point.
