The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I am presuming that I am not the only person who could not access the site last night because of this warning. “750 words uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is expired”.
I probably wouldn’t understand what happened even if you told me but do I have to permanently lose a badge and go on to the wall of shame?
I do realise that this is a first world problem and it won’t destroy my life but it would be nice if you could fix it so that I can keep my status.
