Small thing:

I just exported all my words for local backup. The filenames are in the form of “750 Words-export-apr-2011.txt”, which means that the files won’t sort in chronological order.

Better would be to use ISO 8601 dates. E.g. “750 Words-export-2011-04.txt” Then one could see at a glance what months are missing!
