The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from Ginny DiGuiseppi

1 cup

I started out wanting to use 750 Words to do a short writing prompt every morning to prepare myself to work on longer fiction. However, the features that tell you about your mood and concerns are so accurate, so revealing, and so interesting, that I almost immediately switched to journaling. Even without the features that explicate my feelings, journaling has been really good for me, especially since I’m going through sort of a turbulent time in my life. It forces me to examine what’s actually happening in my life, and why it’s making me feel the way I’m feeling, and even what I’m feeling. The addiction of the features that tell me things like “you’re more affectionate than usual” or “you’re very concerned about success” takes it one step further so that I’m even more aware of what’s on my mind and how I can level my thinking. It’s like a hyper-smart diary and it’s helping me understand myself better every day.
