Writing skills will become more and more important as we move through this century. I don’t want to see it become a lost art. The ability to communicate is vital. The ability to communicate well is a blessing to both parties: the one sending out or providing information and the recipient. Skills are needed to boost confidence. Confidence is essential in developing perseverance. Perseverance demands respect. I challenge each of us to promote writing skills to the youth in our areas and to continue writing ourselves.
