With today’s outage, I remembered again just how much I value this site, and what it does for me. I have written 3.9 million words here, and going strong. It has kept me alive, through five long years of the darkest days of my adult life. If I died of this depression, what would happen to my streak? Thank you for gently urging me on, without coercion, just by being there, by inviting instead of compelling. I literally couldn’t have done it without you.
