A year ago I went to a family gathering so distracting I forgot to write my words that day and broke my streak. Upon realizing this the next morning, I felt so disappointed — a feeling of empty sadness I can barely describe! A year later, I just earned my 365-day pegasus badge. I just had to commemorate this with a note. To anyone who breaks their streak this year due to an overly-busy Holiday season, you have my empathy! To everyone else, make sure to set reminders if you have a tendency to write half-consciously before bed on busier days like I do!
