This is probably the third month in a row that I’ve failed the monthly challenge — this month on the very first day! Having my working conditions in my professorial job change to the tune of going from a 60-hour/week job to what is now 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week with zero letup (not even the occasional weekend morning or afternoon off!) has made keeping up with journaling a huge challenge. But in the midst of it all, this site remains an anchor for me, and even if I end up paying my fines every month for failing the challenge, I’ll keep doing the challenges because they’re part of what make this site so effective.
