The Good Patrons of 750 Words

Before 750 words, it was hard for me to feel proud of my writing because I’ve always wanted it to be perfect. Even looking through journal entries from when I was a child makes my inner critic cringe. How silly—I don’t need to hold myself to high standards when I’m simply recounting my day!

All it took was a bit of consistent practice for me to internalize that writing is a pleasant task and that my stream-of-consciousness entires don’t need to be edited or judged.

I appreciate having a safe space to write without judgement. It’s a lot of fun. : -)
