This exercise gives me a protected half hour of introspection every morning. Given how simple it is, I have to say I’m surprised at how effective it has been at monitoring my mood (I am prone to depression), working out the source of my anxieties. It’s also given me another creative outlet. Things have come up that I then translate into art or creative writing. I recommend it strongly to anyone who struggles with feelings of isolation, depression or anxiety, or is going through a difficult period in their lives. The very simplicity of this interface contributes to its effectiveness.
