I was about 400 words in when my local time hit midnight. The page forced me to reload to continue writing. It not only broke my concentration, but when I started the new page, nothing of the writing from above was visible.

I’d like the feature to have the previous day’s work as a temporary preview on the current day.

If for example it has detected that you are writing at midnight, and you have not taken a break, then the page auto-saves, reloads at midnight with the previous day’s text in grey. So you receive the notification that the words are being recounted, but without the disruption.

Helps for us night-owls.
