The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I can’t thank 750 words enough for keeping me on track with writing every day. I am about to hit 700 days in a row, and from then almost straight 2 years. I hit 500,000 words a few weeks ago, a feat I had seen but never thought I would hit myself. It’s the easiest, most useful and fun way of writing morning pages I’ve ever seen, and I don’t see any signs of slowing now. I feel more creative, more open, more lucid. Conversely, the last time I missed a day I almost drove someone crazy giving them all my brain dump in a car to the point where he pulled me over so we could use Starbucks wifi to get the words down instead of spoken. 5 dollars a month is nothing in comparison to what 750 words provides for me. I’m a writer who’s felt blocked for years and now I am certain that when I go back and read through these archived pages with “soft and humorous eyes” I will find my book in here when I am ready.
