Dear 750 words, I am very grateful for your existence. Your existence helped me create a searchable data-dump from all my too-complicated days.

Unlike the many creative writers who use 750 words, I use it mainly to record things I want to preserve. Sometimes these are touching and lovable family moments. More often, but also valuable, I preserve emails and Twitter retweets and mail orders from Amazon, all mixed together.

At the end of each month, I download the month’s text and upload it to Evernote. This way, all the months (and now years!) of writing with you is completely searchable.
