I use some of my days to write creatively, and some of my days just to dump whatever I’m thinking about… I’m getting the words out – even though it’s not perfect, that’s not the point! Thanks!

For those of us who’d like to increase our output, perhaps we could have a feature where we can increase the necessary word count to get our daily writing from 750 to whatever one we prefer?

I’ve really enjoyed this site. I started in late May and with the exception of the last few days I’ve written almost every day (completed the June challenge).

These cups are because I’ve already missed the July target and I said I’d pitch in. So here’s the pony. :D

I’ve really enjoyed using the meta data and overall kind of just use the site for the #Trust30 challenge and a “journal” of sorts.

I’d like to see an HTML/CSS feature to help better promote 750words on our respective blogs. Something that would display our current streak badge as well as day streak, and possibly word count. And, of course, directly link to the site so people can sign up. Immediately.

I am here in Alabama, and now everything is different.

On day one of my office job, I thought about a lot of things— I thought about systems engineering, and about the spanish language. I thought about the way my best friend looks when life gets ridiculous, her wide sarcastic blue eyes flashing. I thought about how rains looks on sloping glass windows or skylights.

Now I am in Alabama, and everything is different. Words are the same. Daily is the same, writing is the same.

I think more when I write.

I took up the June monthly challenge. June is also the month that my wife is due to give birth. At first, I was thinking that I would be so busy preparing the room and all. I would probably not be able to write on the day itself. So maybe I should take up the July challenge instead.

Then I thought: “If I don’t write for important events like these, then what am I doing? Writing unimportant events?”

So I took the challenge. At 5 a.m. on a Tuesday, I was speedily typing my 750 words on my Android phone. I was waiting for the doctor and nurses to prepare for the delivery. I wrote my thoughts, emotions, hopes and fears.

Thankfully, the baby and mother are safe and healthy. Baby came into the world fast and furious. Thank God. Thanks also to 750words for a site for me to record important events in life.

Peace and joy, love and light. Namaste. I am digging this site. It has motivated me to expurgate, every morning, whatever the daemons and fairies and whatever have been whispering to my subconscious mind during the night. So, thanks 750 words! Peace out.

I’ve written in a journal off and on for over 50 years. I’ve always been looking for a system that was easy and encouraging. I think I’ve found it in 750 words!

It’s been just over a month since I discovered 750 Words. In that time, I’ve made writing a much more regular habit, and noticed a definite increase in my enthusiasm for writing.

Would love an iPhone/iPad app. I get random inspirations throughout the day and would like to be able to write it down if I’m on the go. I’m not always conveniently by a computer. Would be a great new addition!

Unlike other journaling sites, 750 words gives me the freedom to write whatever I am really feeling. This allows me to work through issues without worrying about being judged by my friends or not writing something for fear that it will not stay just on my journal’s page.

I can’t believe how much my mood and outlook has improved since starting to use this site. I sit down every day and write – mostly to work on my novel, though there are smaller projects as well – and the words just flow out of me as I strive to reach my goal. I can honestly say that it’s because of this site that I have 25,000 words of my novel written.

Well, after some very major changes in my life (including a move to a new community) and a 177 day streak, I am back to the ‘egg’ stage! In a way, it is refreshing to begin again, and returning to my ‘words’ brings me a sense of comfort and a feeling of being at home in the midst of so much that is new. As always, thank a bunch Buster – it is good to be back – a few days away seemed like forever!

Buster Benson is changing lives with this site, so perhaps we can all pitch in with donations of plaster, wiring, 2×4′s, cement, and any other random articles of construction that may assist Mugatu in making the Buster Benson Center at least………..3 times larger and not a center for ants.

Anyone who has not written by 11pm would get a text message reminding them to do their 750. An email works for people who check it. Please consider those of us who do not. Maybe you’d have to start sending out messages at 10pm, that’s fine – it’s still a reminder.

I am grateful to 750 words for giving me a venue (and badges!) for writing daily. Instead of thinking “One day I will write this story”, now I sit down and do it. And now I’m off to continue my streak!

Writing the morning pages has enabled me to clear my head so that I can better focus on what I need to do for the rest of the day. It also provided me a way to record the activities from the previous day, and enabled me to more quickly find the areas that require attention or improvements.

Because of this site I’m able now to get those feelings that have been weighing on my mind out in a safe and private environment. It’s quite a release to let go of the stress and then move on with the rest of my day. I’ve written on other other site before but this site gives you what you need. Sometimes you just need a blank page where you can let your mind wander. I’m thankful for this site. I wish I had found it sooner.

I could type away my thoughts all day sometimes. Just typing and thinking what’s in my head and then dumping it all here is such a cathartic sensation. I look forward to coming to this site and expressing my feelings in the privacy of my account. It may be the booze talking, but I love you, man!

750words has helped me not yell at the people in my life when I’m frustrated, but instead put my words on the page. Yes, because of this site, the house I live in is a little happier! I am SO SO GRATEFUL to Buster Benson for this site. I’ve bought $8 worth of cups of patronage, and I have a feeling I’ll be donating a lot more.

Fun Fact: I’ve told my permaculture nerd friend Sabrina about it, and she said, “750words illustrates a perfect permaculture principle. Obtain a yield!” This means we must get immediate rewards to sustain us in our work.

I just finished my first One Month Challenge! This has helped me discipline myself into writing on a daily basis. I write on my good days, my bad days, my energetic days, and my lazy days. There is always something to write, something to discover, something to release from within. I look forward to another successful challenge!
