The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I’m a Forever Phoenix. I’ve been writing here for six years now, and only twice have I managed to reach Pterodactyl — the second time, just today! I always blow it somewhere between 150 and 190. Nevertheless, 750 Words had become an indispensable part of my life. Writing helps me sort through all kinds of things, see patterns, and just generally clear my mind.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with splitting my writing, a little in the morning and a little more in the evening. It’s working well for me so far; I can capture the strange thoughts and ideas that float through my brain before I’ve really jumped into my busy day, then later reflect on everything that happened. I kind of miss (to a surprising degree!) the “uninterruptible” stars I used to get most of the time, but I’m finding the balance of beginning and ending my day with writing to be much more valuable.
