The Good Patrons of 750 Words

So, 750words is the site that got me writing every day. 750words is the site that encouraged me enough in my ability to write every day that I signed up for my first NaNoWriMo this year. I had a 236-day unbroken streak on 750words.

Tonight I finished NaNoWriMo, and came to 750words to upload my day’s writing on my novel, only to find that I forgot to do so yesterday. My streak is busted. I should be happy about the novel, but I’m just gutted over this.

Not a very inspirational note, I’m afraid, but at least it’s replete with irony.

As always, thanks Buster for this site, an awesome idea, carried through. I will keep writing, even though I’m back to being a damned egg.

HAPPY NEWS UPDATE – after seeing another NaNo writer’s comment about forgetting to post a day’s writing here, and Buster restoring her streak, I was brought out of my funk enough to at least ask, and Buster has restored my streak and stats also! (Seems simple enough in hindsight.)
