The Good Patrons of 750 Words

When I was a kid, oh-so-many-years-ago, my sister once came home from her office job with a plastic yellow “coin”. It had four letters on it – TUIT. She gave it to me and said “Hang on to this. When someone promises you they’re going to do something for you when they get around to it. hand them this.”
I wish I had that coin still. I needed it all those years that I didn’t write that book. I just never got a round TUIT again.
