The Good Patrons of 750 Words

What a game changer this site and its monthly challenge are for me! I used to write “when I had time” after taking care of the day’s pressing concerns and commitments, but too often that meant no writing at all on any given day. I never seemed to have “extra” time. But now, having accepted the monthly challenge, my first order of business is to write. Wow, what a difference! I get up, have some coffee, and hit the keys. Since my days are pretty full, I may not finish in the morning, but because I am committed to completing the challenge, and because I want the output for books I’m working on, I go back at some point, sometimes after dinner, and finish up. I’m pushing it to 1,000 words, and I find I’m doing great work. Joining 750words.com is a smart thing to do! Thank you for the great resource.
