The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from Vanessa VanCleave

1 cup

I started writing “Morning Pages” in a notebook after reading “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron nearly 20 years ago and when I don’t do it, it seems there is a backup of mental clutter that hinders me from writing. When I pore out my thoughts concerning what I need to remember to do or process the dream I’ve had the night before, it clears the fog, so to speak and opens a channel of creativity. I am switching to typing for a season because I believe it will be like doing scales on the piano, signaling my brain that we are getting ready to work.
