The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from Michael Kolton

2 cups

I have a number of issues clouding my mind including bipolar disorder and ptsd. I can’t take medication so I do a number of things for my well being including writing every day. Writing is a powerful form of therapy for me. After 76 days I have managed to write over 125,000 words. Wow. What did I learn as I wrote all those words? I learned that if I slow down and maintain an even pace I can clear my mind and express my thoughts. I also learned that there is (for me) no such thing as writers block: there is only a lack of discipline. If slow down and write at a pace of 30 words a minute I will accumulate over 1,300 words in three quarters of an hour. Sometimes writing can be a struggle, but if you slow down you will not be hindered you will advance.

Whatever your reason is for being here keep at it and don’t stop writing. Peace & love all.
