The Good Patrons of 750 Words

Wow. Just reached 200,000 words and am on a streak of over 200 days in a row. I honestly never thought I’d stick with it this long without missing a day. I just don’t do that. It has affected my life outside of journaling in ways I wouldn’t have predicted. For instance, I entered a short story contest and actually got my story finished, edited and uploaded by the deadline. I am half way through writing a novel. It’s not the first one I’ve started but it will be the first I finish. Thanks to 750words. So there’s that. More than anything, though, it’s given me a space to spill my thoughts onto the screen and leave them there, which through some kind of magic, helps me order them, prioritize them and turn them into actions. I can not imagine living without this daily practice now, and 750words is the easiest and most effective way I’ve found of ensuring that I continue to take advantage of this simple method of keeping my head straight. So thanks.
