The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from Suzanne Berard Langlois

1 cup

I stumbled upon ‘750 Words’ today and after one session, I’ve joined up to be a member. How could I resist venturing over to PayPal to commit to the lowly $5 a month fee? That’s less than I would pay for a vanilla soy latte; less than the cost of yet another self-help book; hundreds less than the cost of a therapy appointment or anxiety meds.

After completing Julia Cameron’s creative workshop “The Artist’s Way” a total of 1.75 times and finding her morning pages crucial to jump starting my day, I know the value of stream-of-consciousness writing. I’ve read and reread all of Natalie Goldberg’s books on writing and I’ve done ‘writing practice’ for decades. But now encumbered with painful arthritic hands, I have to resort to typing my thoughts and out of all the online tools available that I have attempted to employ and failed at continuing to use, ‘750 Words’ is the one program that meets my need to write, to purge the jumble of thoughts in my brain, to make sense of occurrences, to forge ahead in my pursuit of living a creative life.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Buster and Kellianne!
