Each user would have an option to define a customized challenge for him or herself, as to the number of words and number of days.
Eg. you want to write 20,000 words in 10 days; so you set a customized challenge for yourself with those two variables: number of words=20,000 in a given number of days=10. Then the system would follow your challenge, check if you succeed and congratulate you and/or reward you with cups of patronage/badges.

Another kind of challenge would consist in writing more words every day for a given number of days, eg. 5 days of writing at least 1500 words per day. If on one day you wrote 900 words, you would still get your cross and keep your streak, but you would fail the challenge.

Also, some of these could become fixed challenges proposed to everyone (perhaps in a new section with optional challenges we could sign up for) and rewarded with a badge.
