The Good Patrons of 750 Words

3 cupsI started using 750 Words in mid-September and it really has changed a lot of things in my life.
1. It’s made me a better teacher because it’s helped me mind-dump how I’m thinking a unit will go and then brainstorm for each lesson, etc. That works for me so much better than trying to envision it while I’m filling in a unit planner or lesson planner.
2. It’s helped my state of mind a lot by allowing me to clear out some of the stuff that’s bothering me.
3. It’s also helping me keep in touch with people who are important in my life. I write the e-mail and then just copy/paste it. I love to double-dip…getting my words done and sending some love out there.
4. AND it’s helping me crack my inability to get anything done fiction-wise. I’ve even decided on a project to work on through January. That’s scary and exciting at the same time. Wish me luck!
