The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from Jolie Curry

2 cups

I have used 750 Words off and on since 2010. This year, it has meant the most to me, though. I write in the evenings after stressful days and the writing soothes me every time. I am a caregiver for two family members with cancer and I don’t know what the future will bring. I am isolating myself because friends don’t seem to understand or care. They are prone to say insensitive things. Writing every evening is my way of purging my soul of the impurities of the day, of the hurt, of the harshness of life. I’ve written over 100,000 words and I still have something to say every night. That must mean something. Maybe I was meant to do this and maybe one day, after I overcome the obstacles that life continues to throw in front of me, I will publish a book. I would really like to do that.
