I have done NaNoWrmo since 2006, and am doing it this year again. Because of that, I did not sign up for the monthly challenge, but I am still posting daily-via my writing for NaNo. But the most extraordinary thing is that I am not only able to keep up easily this year with NaNo, I am able to exceed my daily needed writing, and I am doing it in a wonderful frame of mind, and first thing in the morning. And am fully enjoying doing NaNo. I have found a piece of myself in all this. Maybe there is a writer in me after all is said and done. Thank you for this wonderful site, as this is the one big difference in what I am doing this year over years past.
