The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I’m a writer/teacher who’s taken a day job in the mental health industry — not a huge leap (!), and I love it, but it leaves me exhausted with little time to write. When I was facing ‘empty nest’ in August, my youngest child ready to go off to college and my day filled with the problems and feelings of others, I turned to my long-neglected 750words account. I’ve been writing every day since, and I haven’t had to take a mental health leave from work because of it. Better yet, my morning purge has produced a lot of material I intend to devote time to shaping as the cold weather sets in. This site has disciplined me when everything else I’ve tried has failed. Thank you!
