The Good Patrons of 750 Words

I am so grateful for 750words.com. Whilst I’ve been writing my morning pages on here for months with great success, it has only recently occurred to me to pledge to also write 750 words of my PhD thesis every day. This includes everything from notes to full analysis, even bits of program code that I can export as text (the coding thing is really funny; at times I’ve started properly commenting my code just to reach 750 words). And having textual analysis for academic writing is amazing — nobody wants to hand in a literature review where the writing is introverted, negative or uncertain. Whilst the subjects could be improved (algorithm gets a bit confuzzled when I talk maths to it), every other part of this site is an excellent feedback mechanism in lieu of a supervisor. Can’t believe I wasted all that power just using it as a journal for months on end. Keep it up — hope to see more amazing useful features soon.
