I broke my 500 day streak this month and find that a strange feeling.

I did it almost consciously: I knew I would be away from Internet access for two days, but in the past I’ve carried on writing anyway.

On this occasion, I’d just had my new badge for a few days and decided to just let it go. I realised that I’d become a bit too dominated by what might be better as a fun incentive.

I still feel a wistful regret. Silly!
