The Good Patrons of 750 Words

A Note of Inspiration from T.M. Darkweaver

When I signed up for the March challenge, I had absolutely no idea what an amazing effect it would have on my life.
Writing my 750 words each day not only cleared my mind, but also helped me to learn about myself and how I view life in ways that I’d never understood before. Through my daily words, I formed new opinions and came to conclusions on issues and emotions that I’d been struggling with. I also opened up to myself about things that I had been afraid to write down on paper or on public blogs, feeling that they were too personal. Here, however, I felt comfortable and safe with letting them come out, which was an immense relief.
Reading back through all of my entries at the end of last month gave me a sense of pride – not only in my accomplishment of completing the March challenge, but also in seeing how much I had developed as a person in just four short weeks. I believe that life is a class in which you learn how to create yourself as a work of art, and I can think of no better way to track one’s progress than 750 free-flowing words a day. Even though the March challenge is over, I’m going to continue writing every single day, and I don’t plan on ever stopping.
