I joined at the closing of NaNoWriMo, with a yearning to continue writing. That was 100 days ago! I knew I could do it, but seeing my albatross turn into a phoenix gives me such a thrill! I found the rhythm of writing and didn’t worry about getting my needed words most of the time. There were a few times when I came close to missing my days, but it never actually happened, even when I was at a convention. I found a routine that works for me. I prefer writing in the wee hours to any other time. I find that when I write after midnight and then go to bed I wake up refreshed and my mind positive and abuzz with creativity.

I am so grateful that Buster created this site. It has given me much joy and has been a major tool for my healing. I am getting to the point where I am ready to venture outward with my writing. I yearn to share my writing and this writing routine has helped me face my feelings of insecurity. I wish everyone happy writing! You can do this!
