The Good Patrons of 750 Words

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, I’d like to say that I’m thankful to you, Buster, for creating this site, and to all my fellow writers here. Since February of this year I’ve been writing on and off, and my total is 88,384 words off the top of my mind.

My longest streak is only 16 days, but I’ve completed 750 words on 89 days, which may seem little compared to other writers, but for me it is very significant. Since I seldom write on weekends, I like starting every Monday as an egg and trying to get to a Turkey or sometimes a Penguin each week. I’ve learned to forgive myself for the lapses and start anew each time.

I’ve learned a lot about what’s bothering me under all the busyness of my day job. Thanks, everyone!
