Right now, the Eternity page seems to count Words Per Minute as an overall thing—including idle time. This is unkind to writers who like to type their entry and then come back later in the day to add more, as it factors in those extra hours between writing. On individual pages, there’s a distinction made, between total time and “time actually writing”. Why not only factor in the latter for the Eternity page, giving us a more accurate picture of how fast we type rather than just how long we have the browser window open versus how much we type?
